This figure is awesome, but not perfect. His legs could kick out more, his knees could bend more, and his shoulders look wrong at the wrong angle, but those are fairly minor for this figure. While the hasbro version may be more articulated, he is much less stable due and doesn't hold together as well when handling. So overall, I would definitely recommend this over the hasbro version as it is cheaper, more accurate, more stable, is more expressive, and gives you more bang for your buck. Unless you prefer the hasbro stylization, there really is no reason to get it over this guy, I just wish APC made more, like c'mon guys we need Predaking, Hardshell, Shockwave, Starscream, Ratchet, Unicron, Optimus 2.0, and Megatron 2.0 just to name a few. Can't wait for Skyquake!

I absolutely LOVE this figure!!!!! If you know that TFP is the pinnacle of the Transformers franchise not just the masterpiece of the series but also know that the toys themselves were the best figures ever created in the entire Tranformers universe then this is a must have!!!!! APC Toys or whatever (Gear Factory) they call themselves are obviously TFP lovers too! They take the already great figures and make them 1,000,000 times better!!!! I seriously can’t stop praising APC Toys and their excellent work that they have put into their products!!!!! Their paint work is the best!!! Their plastic quality is the best!!!! Their love for the franchise is only second to mine because I truly believe and feel that the Transformers Prime series and figures are the best that has ever been produced!!!!!!!!!! Sooooo much love effort and appreciation went into taking the mainline figures and making them 1,100,000,000 times better than the original!!!!! So APC Toys if you reading this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make more figures!!!! I am a huge supporter of APC Toys and their excellent work!!!! People may argue with what I say but idc! I really really really hope that they make more figures!!!! Anyway enough about that. This figure is sooooo much better than the original! Everything from the size to the articulation to the paint to the quality of plastic to the accessories and most importantly the design of the figure is sooooo much better than the original!!! Also the price of the the figure is absolutely justified!!!!! Thank you APC Toys for another amazing figure!!!! I normally never ever write a review soooooo freaking long but this figure is worth it and it is worth every single penny I spent on it!!!!! If you are still reading STOP! Go order the figure now! Dreadwing is great! A faithful update with added articulation, great accessories and great colors. Goes great with existing Prime figures. I added gold on the fists to finish the look and silver Decepticon logos.

I have all their previous TF Prime releases from when they were APC Toys and think they are superb. So when they released this guy, it was an instant bought for me. Let's just get this out of the way. On looks alone, he is just plain awesome in both mode. He is surprisingly bigger than I would have imagined he be, almost the size of Megatron. Anyway, the paint is superb. Articulation is decent, though the feet makes it hard for him to have a of dynamic poses. Transformation is intricate but not too hard. Love all his accessories and alternate heads. My only complaint is that some of the tab won't fit in the holes they are supposed to tab into because they got painted over. Had to scrape the paint off for them to fit better. Second, the connections for the legs to the body sometimes pop off. Other than that, he is a great addition to my TF Prime collection and I'd totally recommend him. I hope they will release Skyquake as that is just a slight recolor of him. I also hope they will release Starscream as well.
