Solid figure. Nothing was loose or felt cheap. The figure poses quite well and the shields have adjustable grips on the so they can be moved around quite well. With everything Cang, sharp points are abound but as long as you are careful nothing is a danger. Transformation is pretty simple, it just requires an order of operations to maintain proper clearances Overall it’s a winner.

I have the whole set of Cang Toys Insecticons, and they're all fantastic. High-quality plastic, detailed paint, and a bit of die-cast in some joints give them a sturdy, premium feel. And, of course, the figures look amazing, with a unique, hyper-stylized Gundam-esque look with tons of small details. These are high-quality figures in every respect, enjoyable to pick up and worth well above the asking price. Blacanidae (in the front) is the smallest member of the trio, but I love his dual-swordsman aesthetic. He looks like some sort of robo-bug samurai and still manages to have a striking silhouette despite his slightly smaller size. And his swords function as his pincers in beetle mode - I really like that sort of continuity in a Transformer. And, speaking of beetle mode, I'd peg Blacanidae's bug mode as the best of the bunch! He's just a clean, solid figure all around.

Cang toys cooked up another amazing figure! Amazing value for only a 40$ figure. Only downside I'd have to say tho is the thighs are very squeaky.

If you are a fan of the insecticons these trio is a great addition for your collection. They may not be G1 cartoon accurate but for the price point and displayable poses how can you pass them up.

As a fan of insects and Insecticon, I received this figure as a gift and was very pleased with it. The box it comes in is very nice and the figure is very well made. It wouldn't be very difficult to transform if it weren't for the instructions, which are not very understandable, at least for me, and the joints, which are very stiff and squicky. I need to find some silicone oil. Although I prefer a classic design, I really like the robot, especially the proportions that give it a sense of power, but I don't like the lettering. The insect mode, Stag Beetle, is simply spectacular and fun. In the end, I was very happy and I think I'll get the others too! A word of warning... be careful, they don't get on with other pets in the house... Hey! Leave the dog alone!

Absolutely great figure for a very decent price. The plastic is of the harder variety but still quite very good, the details are great, it is solid and all articulation is tight. Absolutely love it and if the other from this line are at the same price, I'll be most certainly be getting them.

First impressions: the box is one of the nicest I've even seen a figure come in. The robot is absolutely gorgeous. The transformation is not overly complex but difficult because the figure's articulation is very tight! It squeaks a lot and I had to loosen the screws for the hips that you have to rotate. I will be using some silicon (plastic safe) oil for sure. The articulation is absolutely great and has just about everything, including double jointed elbows and knees. The insect mode is simple but effective. The plastic quality is of the harder type, but of good quality. The paint work is excellent. Final impression, this is a really great figure for the price and if there are other Cang Toys figures in this price range, I will most certainly consider getting them!

This is a very nice toy. Pros: Great Paint. Great Box, with amazing art and design. Great design. Great size, has some die cast. Cons: Poor articulation, no waist, no ab crunch. Tight joints. Which can be good or bad, but mostly bad. Not very heavy even with the small amount of die cast. Hoping the other 2 are heavier and better articulated. Recommend from me!
