Bought this because who doesn't love a Transformers figure than can change into 6 different modes. Honestly, I just wanted to buy 1 deco and was thinking of getting the EX version over this bc this looks pretty plain. However, the stupid hand and energon cup got me. Let's just get it out of the way. I'm a little disappointed in this figure. I guess it's the best Newage can do due to having to design for 6 modes. If this is the results, then I would rather have a figure that can transform into 2 or 3 good modes because all modes suffer in some form or another on this one. First off, the plastic feels a little cheap, not the kind you would expect from Newage. Maybe it needs to be in order to transform into 6 modes. Second, there was a QC issue with mine where the arms don't tab in in car mode, even though there was a QC pass sticker on the figure. Articulation is okay, not great. The arms can't move around freely unless the two wings for the chest crest are moved forward. I don't know how they pose him in robot mode with his hand crossing in some of the pics they show off without completely removing those wings. Bot mode looks pretty good, although he looks a little stocky. 8/10. Gun is okay it kind of resemble one. 6/10. Artillery vehicle is terrible. 4/10. Wolf is pretty good in the front half but the back half with its giant hind legs and no tail look weird. 6/10. The car mode is okay, but nothing special. 6/10. The spaceship looks decent, but no landing gear, the back that is his arms just sticks out there, making the shape look bad, no cockpit. 6/10. I don't remember the modes looking so bad. Maybe it's just my nostalgia. While I'm glad I have a Sixshot in Legends scale, I'm a bit disappointed. Also, transformation is not really that fun either and more aligned with Magic Square transformation of tabs covering things up than Newage usual transformation. I was going to buy the EX deco because that looks better, but after having this in hand, I'm reconsidering. If you must have a toon deco of Sixshot, then I guess you can buy him or wait for Magic Square's version, which might be a while. Otherwise, get the EX or EXR version so at least he looks better than this bland deco with not a lot of details. I usually buy two decos, one for bot mode and one for alt mode. I'm struggling to find what other mode besides bot mode to display him in if I were to get another one. They are just not very good.
