Love this little guy he's fun to transform

It's a perfectly serviceable legends shockwave. Cons: Many visible sprue marks, plastic doesn't look or feel premium, hand pegs especially into the clear adapter are scarily tight. The stand does not tab into robot backpack unless you tab the backpack together scarily. Torso does not stop rotation in gun mode, so can twist. Pros: Reasonable pricing, great range of motion on joints. No real kibble, gaps, or sculpt breaks in any mode. Transformation is fair. Has size, show accuracy, and number of hand options over its competitors. Overall, doesn't set the best overall impression, but when you forgive its minor flaws you can appreciate how it hits every criteria that matters.

Overall this is one of the best g1 shockwaves on the market, legends or MP scale. - Aesthetics: Compared to the masterpiece and newage offerings, this provides slightly blockier proportions which I prefer. It's a much richer more saturated purple than the MP. - Transformation: Really smooth, no clearance issues, very fun to flip back and forth. One of those figures that makes a really great desk toy. A highlight for me is how satisfyingly the legs split apart to become the handle and back of the blaster mode. - Posability: As with most magic square offerings, gives you everything want. Really liked how you could extend the torso to get a huge ab crunch forward and back. One of my major gripes however is the front hipskirt is all in one piece, really would have prefered if it split in two - Plastic quality: The plastic feels okay, just below the quality of an official hasbro figure. However, the mold lines are placed in pretty obvious places, like the front of the legs or across the eye. There are a few burrs (extra plastic that extends from the piece) in somewhat discrete places, and the cutoff from the injection mold leaves white marks at some places. None of these defects are on super obvious areas, but it's the slightly lower quality you get on a magic square figure compared to newage, fanstoys, etc. - Verdict: really fun figure to flip back and forth and the sculpting is really pleasing to the eye. Plastic quality isn't S tier, but definitely doesn't ruin the figure
