Once installed, the figure looks more complete and intentional, especially around areas that previously felt a bit unfinished. That said, there are a couple of important considerations. First, installing this kit makes the figure incompatible with the BDT STUDIO BDT-29B (BDT29B) upgrade kit / hatch for SS83 Soundwave. If you’re planning to mix and match upgrades, this is something to be aware of before committing. Second, after installing the GX35 kit, Ravage becomes more finicky to store inside Soundwave’s chest. It’s still possible, but Ravage must be transformed perfectly into cube mode. In particular, the legs need to be pegged in correctly and tightly; any slight misalignment will make fitting Ravage into the chest cavity difficult or impossible. With careful transformation it works, but it does require more precision than a before. the product is shipped in a simple box without too much packaging or various plastics, protected very well to avoid shocks during transport. the pieces are made in 3d printing, but they do not affect the general appearance of the figure at all which makes it very beautiful for taking photos and also for display. I found a small problem on one of the feet of ravage, a printing smudge that did not fit well into the joints, it was not difficult to remove with a pair of scissors. another thing is the fit of ravage inside the chest of soundwave, the front door closes with difficulty, so you have to move the back of soundwave slightly to make it fit well, but it's a small thing and you can't even see it. overall I highly recommend these upgrade kits, having already purchased for rotb optimus prime.
