4th party BW BAIWEI CY01 CY-01 Upgrade Kit / Tactical Trailer for TW1022 Optimus Prime (Modified KO SS32 / SS44 arrived quickly new as described. Packaging was not good as the package delivered by GOFO arrived smashed. Both the original box and clamshell inside were smashed. Luckily the contents inside the clamshell were undamaged. Out of the clamshell the trailer is partially transformed already into weapons platform mode. Plastic quality and paint work is good. I like the metallic silver paint used. The jet wing pack is well made and articulates well. Also, paintwork on the jet wing pack is nice. Star Leader's two gun accessories are sculpted well and painted in a nice metallic silver. The unpainted dark shield is a nice size. There is an option of two different wheel sizes for the trailer that are also painted well. Landing gear is also included for the trailer mode. Weapons platform mode- This is a decent representation of the weapons platform shown in Transformers: Dark of the Moon when Optimus Prime and the NEST team are investigating in Ukraine. Setting up the weapons platform does require some force to push the two dark brown semicircle parts into place. The semicircle parts lock in securely forming solid arches for the weapons platform mode. I like the many different locations you can place weapons inside the weapons platform. Jet wing pack mode- Out of the clamshell the jet wing pack is ready. The jet wing pack is easy to attach to the back of BAIWEI Star Leader TW1022EX in robot mode. Because of the additional paintwork on the fists of Star Leader the two gun accessories are not easy to plug in. I think this is a decent representation of Optimus Prime's jet wing mode shown in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The jet wing pack and two guns integrates well with Star Leader. I like the adjustable wings. Trailer mode- Transforming from the weapons platform mode wasn't difficult and all the parts tabs together securely to form a solid semi trailer. The oversized trailer looks much more screen accurate than the authentic Studio Series 44 trailer. Unfortunately the trailer mode is ruined by the odd wheel designs. The optional large size trailer wheels are too big and the small size trailer wheels look too small. Also the smaller size trailer wheels are unrealistically spaced apart. * Be sure to know exactly which wheel size you want to use because removing the wheels is a challenge once plugged into the trailer. Vehicle attack mode- This is a nice rendition of the Striker Optimus Prime look released back in 2011. All the weapons peg securely to truck mode Star Leader. For the money this is a decent set for those wanting an affordable representation of Transformers: Dark of the Moon Jet Wing Optimus Prime. Craftsmanship is good and the different modes function well. Plastic quality is good and the paintwork is decent. Also, all the modes are not difficult to setup. This set compliments Star Leader and brings the Bay movie trilogy representation to a satisfying conclusion. My compliments to the Takara designers for their original design work and BAIWEI for their BAIWEI CY01 CY-01 Upgrade Kit. If you already own BAIWEI Star Leader TW1022EX this BAIWEI CY-01 Upgrade Kit is a great way to make your figure more fun. I missed out on the original and reissue of the SS DotM Optimus Prime figure. I'm glad I was able to get this to complete the package. The trailer has a very clean look to it.

Looked like some of the weapons were missing, if that were even part of the bundle.

The trailer is great, I also bought the baiwei optimus prime, and the baiwei additional weapons for optimus, which each was perfect to use, looks incredible I really recommend this with the other additional toys from baiwei.

The Trailer is a joy to handle most of the time. Aside of completing the look of an otherwise rather minimalistic looking Truck Mode to Baiwei TW1022, the trailer looks breathtakingly cool in it's Armory-Mode. IF you manage to get it transformed. Those dark round metal bars were a REAL labor to tab into the surrounding panels that required more brute force than I am comfortable with. I'm hoping that it's getting better now that I'm keeping it in this mode for a while. But it undeniably looks fantastic and nothing actually broke on me so that's a plus in my book! Highly recommend it if you're getting a Copy of Baiwei's SS44 Optimus or even the new Baiwei SS102 RotB version!
