Pros：
(1) Good quality plastic are used for the main body.
(2) Ratchet joints work well.
Cons：
（1）For random batches some joints of the lower body are loose.
（2）For random batches the trace of the plastic injection gate are obvious on the body of the figure.
（3）For random batches some lights may not lit up，this is a common defect for this version and cant be solved by post-sale service.

4th Party KO MP-29 Shockwave arrived quickly as described.
Packaging protection was good and the figure box arrived in great condition.
Out of the clamshell KO MP-29 Shockwave looks amazing in gun mode. Other than a few spruce marks the build quality is great.
Plastic feels durable and the bits of die-cast metal parts have great craftsmanship.
The large LED light for the gun mode works perfectly and is bright.
Optional hands plus small gun for KO Shockwave's robot mode are also included and seem to be well made.
Transformation-
All the parts move well during transformation and also tab in as they should.
Transformation is not difficult and is very enjoyable.
Robot mode-
In Robot mode KO Shockwave looks amazing being a great representation of Shockwave's appearance in the G1 Transformers cartoon.
Articulations work well with nice ratchets and great craftsmanship.
Unfortunately there is a small short in the battery compartment for the left arm cannon LED on my copy.
The battery contact points are slightly loose and the spring doesn't put enough pressure onto the batteries which causes the LED not to work consistently.
One press of the button for the left arm cannon is supposed to make the small LED light pulse.
Overall this KO MP-29 Masterpiece Shockwave is a great figure for the price.
While not perfect this KO MP-29 Shockwave is a bargain that I enjoyed handling.
Build quality is decent and the two LED lights on my copy do function.
The infamous paint chipping problem for the hose piece has not been improved so be careful when handling the hose piece.

Absolutely love this figure! The electronics worked just fine & production quality overall pretty nice. Do note however: The actual robot mode height is ~8.5 inches, same as SS86 Grimlock.

I've never had a Shockwave before. This came as a pleasant surprise. Packaging is very nice art looks nice looks very legit. The robot itself is really high quality. There are some areas that could be slightly refined. I don't think youd notice that's not the official Takara release. Five stars. Put some batteries in it and it lit up. Good looking!

Really good looking KO of MP-29 Shockwave, especially for the price. I didn't use any of the included stickers as I had my own that I used instead. I also put a Decepticon insignia on his chest, although not toon accurate, I like it. He's super simple to transform and every joint is tight, except the right bicep swivel, which is slightly loose. He's got a little bit of heft to him as well because of the diecasts parts.
Pros: price, overall a very good KO copy, the light up feature works (requires 2 LR44 for the arm cannon and 2 AAA for the gun mode cannon). Ease of transformation, requires no instructions. Might be a con to some people.
Cons: The metal hose chips very easily, which is a known case for this KO. At least on my copy, the right bicep swivel is slightly loose. Very little paint and mostly colored plastic.
