Shipping took long, as was neatly shared. Sadly the box took a big impact during it's travel, so the beautiful boxart is all messed up. Thankfully, the toy was saved thanks to TFSafari's sturdy shipping method!! As for BMW-05 himself? Yeah, beautiful. Looks the part in all four modes, has full range of mobility and a beautiful finish. Even without the metal feet (for balancing) he's a hefty dude. All major joints ratcheted, so he'll strike any pose. Not even talking about the lovely headsculpts! Ton of options there! The only element of concern would be the main transformation hinges. Tolerances aren't perfect, the hinge looks fragile and connections for the turret are not solid, in any mode. Nothing a bit of floor polish couldn't cure. However: shouldn't be needed. But beyond that: yes, childhood dream. In fact, this is my second one ordered here, and not regretting it.

This guy was everything I could have asked for in an Optimal Optimus. Having owned the original one as a child, I am beyond pleased with the fit and finish of this figure. I cannot recommend this figure enough.

Great figure, love it and I would highly recommend adding this to your Beast Wars MP collection. The Chrome is amazing and the light up features are great. Again, recommend and the price was great here!!!!

Very well articulated and heavily detailed figure! Plenty of ratchet joints and the metallic paint is beautiful in hand!

If you like the show, you probably like the character. If you like the character, you probably know the toy. If you liked the toy, character and show: look no further. This figure is somehow both show and toy accurate, has more flexibility than one of them snake ladies and more details, paint prowess (all perfectly applied!) and spring loaded ratchets than you can possibly imagine. And as this isn't the original run they learned from their mistakes. Nothing is too tight, nothing is too loose, that terrible waist crunch is made null and void so it doesn't do the "flop". It retains the LED feature and everything else works, behaves and poses as you have come to expect from TransArts. As with a lot of 3P figures: die cast added, to the feet this time. It doesn't seem intended to artificially weigh the figure up, but to add stability to it, considering it's ridiculously top heavy. And thanks to the added ratchets it absolutely can strike a pose! The ONLY two downsides are: - chrome/plastic quality can only be determined after some life on your shelves, so take that with a grain of salt, - and it's the size of the original toy, down to a tee. So don't go thinking it'll size up to the other TransArts offerings. But it sure as heck will look amazing next to say Kingdom figures, or the classic toys. Comes with alternate gorilla face ("visor down" is installed, "visor up" is in the box), two additional robofaces ("neutral" is installed "scared" and "angry" in the box, 2 knee winglets (just pop them in the socket), 2 sets of arm armour, collectors's card and pamflet with QR codes to "instructions", which is just a short vid on youtube. NO display stand. And quite frankly, I don't mind. This beastie poses just fine on it's own. So, while the design might not be for everyone, this figure will surely make some fans happy.

A great representation of Optimal Optimus with great chrome paint. My only issue withe the figure is that the backpack doesn't tap in anywhere, wiggiling a bit to much from time to time. Otherwise a great figure.

Love this massive amazing toy. Listen. A "real" one exists but it is nothing like this one. Tight joints, fun transformations, great accessories and a much better "beast" mode head mould. love it.

This is a great figure , nice paint and quality / joints are nice and tight /nice articulation / nice weight too it / it’s a nice Masterpiece figure for your beast wars collection/ I will get all of trans arts figures now worth every penny . The only thing I don’t like about the is the hands they are weird and loose not tight enough for my liking and the back pack doesn’t peg in like I want it too . I like this figure so much I want too buy another. And the store has a great price on it too and it’s a must for Beast wars fans .
