For the price, i think this Bot is pretty great, a solid 7 or 7.5 out of 10. not sure if it pickups in my photo, but his blue is a little bit sparkly so its not a pure blue, its a little darker so its not like the sparkle is noticeable. there are minor things like very very very small tolerance issues, or sprue marks that can be sanded/cut off, some slight imperfection areas (i have seen them on others photos so its a issue with the mold itself) but they are all not super super noticeable which is why i give it such a higher ranking. again for the price its a great deal for such a good looking Bot, the accessories that come with it are great too i am very happy with the price and toy itself :) i should note the seller TFsafari did a great job packaging it when i didnt order the box that comes with it, 10/10 service/shipping, 7-7.5/10 Toy on my scale

Model has issues, cassettes get stuck constantly the gun is also a failure and unable to extend fully, you can see the chrome part partially drop down halfway but never extend fully, i have unclipped the outer case and unscrewed the side but still cant fix it because the end is sealed, its permently a failure point.

Ordered for a friend, who has been very pleased with it so far. One concern I had was lack of tracking updates once it got to the States for delivery. Other than that, satisfactory experience.

The Soundwave w/the included Laserbeak are AWESOME! Although, the extra pack of Decepticon cassettes do fit inside Soundwave, they will not eject and will get stuck inside. I had to use a tiny screwdriver to pry the bottom edge of the cassette to get him out. They look great when transformed though!

Worth the price! I love it! I have my eye on a few others... but thank you TFSafari!

It's been past 30 days and the product still hasn't arrived, my son is extremely disappointed about the poor shipping performance. I will reconsider where I purchase my 3rd party toys from in the future.

It's for a gift so I didn't handle it too much, but I did convert it to tape player mode to fit easier in a gift box. Everything was pretty darn smooth, and it just looks incredible!

Bought this because I just love all his G1 cassette tapes and want them in my collection. I'm a legends scale collector and bought both Newage and Magic Square Soundwave. The Newage's cassettes are all trash. Magic Square's are better, but the three tapes that I want to complete my collection are no longer in production and secondary market asking price is outrageous. I wasn't even thinking about getting an MP Soundwave until I saw this and the price, mainly the price. For $65, you get Soundwave and his 6 cassettes, minus autoscout, but he is a minor character so it's not a big deal. Anyway, I was planning to just put Soundwave in his cassette player mode and transform his tapes. The thing is he looks so damn good in bot mode that I'm struggling to decide what mode I want him in. Anyway, to the review. If you buy him for the looks, then it is a great deal, especially for the price. He just looks soo good. The paint on him, while there are a few blemishes, are actually very good. There are a few QC issues that annoy me, like tabs not tight enough, joints a little loose, but overall, they are not too excessive that would ruin the fun. Same goes with the tape. The one issue that I can see that is a problem for me and for anyone else is the cheap plastic feel. It feels so light in the hand and I worry for its longevity as it feels like it can easily crack and break. Articulation is decent. Other than that, it's a great purchase. I don't recommend him to be your main Soundwave, although it could be, but it is a great secondary Soundwave for anyone's collection. If you want an MP Soundwave in your collection that doesn't break the bank, then I would totally recommend him.

AMAZING FIGURE although only one issue lemme go over the features NOTE: did buy the Minicon bundle Got two laserbeaks and one of every other character so I was happy to get two and will be a gift to another I wont mention in this figure comes with diecast in the same spots as the actual hasbro brand figure and the secret panels that can store rumble's/frenzy's backpack pieces the articulation is just as good as the actual MP soundwave but the head is much to be desired mine unfortunately is a bit loose only issue as mentioned before is the cassete player mode is functional however the cassetes themselves when put inside do not cooperate well more than likely being a KO and the tolerances of being a KO but still functions just make sure to have a paperclip inside the cassete hole to pull em out in the case of a cassete jam so pull the cassete gently or a bendy wire , parts separator,etc just any tool that can slip under the cassete to unjam it. overall the plastic quality is minimal to an extent have a scalpel or model razor to scrape any sprue runoff to clean it up . very good price for what you get

I think I would more accurately give it 2.5 stars if I could. 3 just felt a tad too high but 2 feels a little too low. Pros: Overall the mold is good, and the figure feels great and very sturdy. The diecast parts feel nice and it holds poses very well. The accessories and extra cassettes are also all very awesome. Cons: My biggest gripe is how glittery it is. None of the pictures or other reviews mention or convey just how glitter filled this paint and/or plastic is. It unfortunately doesn’t give it a metallic vibe, just a gaudy glittery look, it even looks like dust in some lighting. My figure also came with a fair bit of scratches and wear, which is to be expected with a loose KO, but felt especially disappointing since the glittery-ness of the figure kind of makes the blemishes stick out more. Overall if the figure wasn’t so sparkly, if it was just a flat matte blue, I think it would be an easy 5/5. But as is, I’d have to give it a dead center 2.5/5.

a little addon from my last review, please be careful with Frenzys golden paint since it can easily smudge and clear of, my frenzys waist has lost his paint so be careful with him, also be extremely careful with buzzsaws wings since i had mine snap, i don’t know if this is a consistent problem but im just warning others

Absolutely incredible figure, my only downsides is that some tapes like Ravage, Rumble & frenzy can get easily stuck in there unless you got something to help them get out, and the legs while transforming can’t properly lock in, but other than that it’s absolutely incredible, i do advise getting the extra tapes but be prepared for an extra laserbeak!

Well, this is a KO in the first place so people should not expect much from it. For such an affordable price this is a good figure. The joints are nice and sturdy, it looks good overall, however my copy's mouthplate has an annoying paint chip which is a bitter eyesore that could have been easily noticed when packaging. (It was a loose pack). Moreover, the casette launcher mechanism does not function either but for me that is a lesser problem. Nevertheless, it arrived quickly and well-packed.

What can I say about this figure? Figures like this have redefined 3rd party offerings. THF didn't just copy the Takara version, they took everything good about it & made their own unique improvements. Arrived quickly, safely packaged and exactly as described. Perfect transaction. Highly recommended.
