I just want to say that this is the best looking transformable Arcee out there that has ever been made, full stop. That includes both her alt and bot mode. They took the Flametoys Arcee design, which I thought was the perfect anime Arcee model, and made it transform into a beautiful convertible. That took a lot of engineering and the people who did that should be praised. So why the 3 stars. It's due to one dumb design and that is the ball joint. Most ball joint design have a direct plug in from the top. This one has a plug in from the top and side, making it so easy to fall off. I have taken a picture of the design. I'm not sure if this is so it can be moved around when transforming, but I just think there has to be a better way. You don't know how many times parts just fall off, and not just during transformation. The hands would fall off very easily. There are a lot of parts that are connected by ball joints and all of them have this dumb design. If anyone can transform her without having one thing or another fall off, then I have to say that person is a genius. It took me more than 1.5hrs to transform her from her bot to her car mode, and most of those time was spent on trying to go back a few steps to put back a part because it fell out of its joint. The main culprit for me was the side skirt as shown in the picture. When I was a close to the final step in putting the car together, it would fall out. I have to undo the car and try to snap it back in again. In the end, I gave up and just pulled them out. One tip when transforming, just pull the part out, move the ball joint, and reconnect the part back again. Don't try to move the part with the ball joint because I guarantee you that it will fall out. Because of one bad design, it ruins the fun for me. The paint is exceptional. The articulation is very good, but it is held back by the huge backpack and skirt. Also, she is back heavy so any dynamic poses will require the stand. For me, the alt mode is a 10/10. The bot mode is a 10/10. Transformation isn't too bad...if the parts don't come off their ball joint. I love the figure but that bad design just ruin the figure for me. Such a shame. Do I recommend it, sure, if you don't transform it too often or just leave her in her bot mode right out of the box. Otherwise, be prepared to be frustrated.

Transformation was bit tricky at certain points and the no English instructions were a bit difficult to follow but in the end it all came together nicely. Both modes are really nice. One issue I have is the many pairs of hands. I believe that one articulated hands is always better. But in the end it's worth it
