A really fantastic representation of Star Saber with anime style proportions and great paint and details. Especially love the metallic blue finish. Luckily I did not get a common QC issue where the neck joint is too tight. The transformation is a little more involved than the haslab but comes together pretty nicely still, and the angular look really gives it an intense vibe. The accessories are all you could ask for and plug in very securely. Saber core robot is also not quite as articulate as a regular figure but still full of detail and thankfully has a smaller sword to use. Overall it's fantastic. My only gripes are that the vehicle mode has no storage for the accessories at all, so you'll have to dump in a bag or something. The blast effects are also hard plastic, meaning that they are *extremely* sharp and you must be very careful with them. I just leave them and not use them at all. As far as Star Saber representation goes, this one gets an A+. Highly recommended for its commander toy price tag.

It is alright. There was people panicking about the head ball joint, tolerances, and paint chipping. It is not that bad, chill out! For head ball joint you move the head up, apply oil, and slowly turn. The tolerances do not mean anything. He is heavy so dynamic poses can throw him off. Just how it is. Paint chipping is on tabs and panels from inside painted blue parts, they mean very little. Just use alcohol to wipe it off. Requires maintenance so not perfect, but when treated with care it is a good version of star saber

Overall an amazing figure. It’s the same size as Haslab StarSaber but I feel this is a definitive “Studio Series” Star Saber. Its anime inspired design is well done with articulation and paint detailing to match. You get everything you would want in a Star Saber figure. Only nitpick is the paint on the diecast isn’t fully color matched to the plastic. Check out my full video review/tutorial

This figure is beautifully painted and solid. Great articulation and sculpt. I recommend this figure and hope they come out with victory Leo soon. TF Safari did an excellent job with shipping and handling. Their prices are very reasonable.

It’s a really nice version o Star Saber. This is like a mini masterpiece in that it fits more in scale with mainline toys. This version of star saber is about the size of the Haslab offering.

I was wanting something to add to my AOTP collection to represent the character, but wasn't ready for how good he really was. He scales perfectly, looks amazing, and feels great. I have the HASLAB, but I honestly prefer this guy. He looks so anime accurate and I couldn't be happier!

So this is debatably the biggest legends scale transformer out there (and yes according to ye olde Sunbow chart he's legends scale) and he's honestly pretty dang great. He's got some minor little irritations like the fact his hands, while fully articulated, suck out loud in feel and their ability to hold *anything* without the tabs on the accessories (we're talking old school KFC/XTB stuff here), but the pros far outweigh the cons.
So yeah he's gigantic, towering over nearly everything else in your legends collection with the exception of combiners. He's basically 1:1 in height with the Iron Factory Liokaiser and Craftman's Toys Computron, and a bit under twice the height of the DX9 Super Ginrai, with NewAge Optimus coming up to about his mid thigh. But yeah that's literally how the Japanese series went, each and every consecutive series jacked the characters up drastically in size. His articulation is excellent as well except I'd prefer a bit more range on the up/down of his head to accommodate the ab crunch better, and for mine at least his drop down hips are quite a bit looser than his actual leg articulation at the hip. His hands are... Ugh... Use the accessory tabs and you won't have an issue, but his fingers aren't going to hold *anything* without the tab system. And don't sneeze or yawn suddenly while fiddling around with Saber's brainmaster or you're liable to lose him forever as he's just that small.
But he looks absolutely great. Far sleeker than the HasLab version who pretty much personifies *CHUNK*, cheaper, and just has a far more premium look to him.

smaller than I thought, but still a pretty good figure, fingers/hands are quite lose and feels very delicate but so far, every fingers are still there. good heft for it's size. hopefully there's a Victory Leo equivalents soon

very cool representation of Star Saber. it's almost like a mini version of the Iron Trans Star Saber.
I like the heft of it due to the metal parts. it's very solid and poses well.
I like the expanding/shrinking gun gimmick as well as the addition of the shield and the way it attaches in ship mode.
I wish the landing gear in the nosecone was retractable and it could use more clicking gears in the joints. the fingers are awful loose too. looking forward to this version of Victory Leo and I hope it's sooner than Iron Trans is coming along
