Great figure!

I was so ecstatic to see finally, a version of movie Grimlock that actually has proper dino anatomy. No part of it is perfect, but it all adds up to a really impressive piece, at an almost ludicrous size. It's true the dino legs aren't very posable, and only look good in a few positions, but at least the entire ankle and calf and foot are there. The thigh pieces don't peg in, they are mostly just to fill space, but that's okay. The tail is so posable, though more vertical than horizontal movement. The head can be a tiny bit gappy in some poses, but that's just to make room. I will say that, even with his stand, he has trouble standing up. There probably should have been hip ratchets or something. Robot mode may have a thin waist and huge hips, and it would have been nice if the dino claws shifted a bit more out of the way on the forearms, and it's pretty hard to get him to hold the mace, but other than that, no complaints. Just an absolutely perfect representation of the character, and this one stands very confidently on the shelf. Pauldrons move right out of the way for full arm movement. His hip joints are set kind of high, so his legs look best while standing neutrally, but it's not a huge deal and better than the other extreme. The transformation was involved, but also just brilliant. And on top of that, light feature! It works. I didn't think I'd get that, since I was buying the discounted version. If I have one real gripe, it's that the instructions were A) very unhelpful, with the pictures just being vague gray blobs, and B) punctured repeatedly because they were placed on top of his spiky back in the packaging. But there are videos online. Definitely recommend this at this price. I resisted for years, glad I could finally give in.

I ALSO HAVE TO STRESS: This figure is the best AOE grimlock on the market. Looks amazing, and even though it’s all plastic, it still feels like it’s 2 pounds in hand. I didn’t have any issues with joints.

Awesome for a small figure

The left shoulder on my figure is so tight it is eventually going to shear off. There were also some other problem but nothing quite as severe. I had to sand a few things and make a custom stand so he can stand in dino mode. There is also no chance he can hold the mace without his wrist flopping around. The biggest problem is the customer service. I haven't gotten a reply in over a month after sending multiple messages. Definitely going to be making expensive purchases elsewhere in the future.

One of the best transformers I ever, I absolutely adore it.

This is a great figure, large, robust and very sturdy. This is a great addition to my Transformers collection and I will definitely purchase many more figures from Tfsafari.
