I love Ultra Magnus. After seeing this guy come in stock and getting a few iron factory toys I decided to give hom a shot. Before going into the review k ow that Iron factory plastic feels great, but sometimes transformations can feel a little... floaty. All mu other figures from them are from the samurai series, this figure has the least of this feel, though Miniumus 100% feels like this. The robot mode is mostly what I bought this guy for. I love how big his hands are relative to the rest of the body. The proportions of this guy make him feel loke a powerful warrior. Iron Factory so he poses super nice. Each finger is individually articulated and those brass knuckles are awesome. In robot mode he also has a bunch of hidden firepower in: hidden forearm guns, those shoulder cannons and the missile launchers on his legs. The vehicle mode feels like a secondary mobile fortress. He does roll and I love that you can put the little guy inside him. Some notes on the transformation. The cab can feel.rrally difficult. Its not the worst but getting his head to sit right with the truck cab inside his chest is the hardest part of this thing. It is possible to get the little robot to sit inside the cab in his chest but it is really difficult. Originally when I saw that the og magnus cab was being sold as a diffrrnt figure at 1/2 the price I though that was a little much, until I found out that the sold separately white cab for this guy has replacement parts that give wider clearance for the cab. That almost makes me pick it up right away. At the end of the day I am super happy with this guy and love him being a part of mu Magnus collection.

More than I expected. Imposing and super pose-able. Good materials and finish. Feels great and simple enough to transform. No loose joints. Instant iron factory supporter. Sad I’m so late to the party. Missed out on some goodies.

Robot mode is amazing. Light piping on the red on the shoulders is great. Vehicle mode, hammer, and eyes light piping are okay. But I did mostly get this for the robot mode

The figure screams Ultra Magnus! Looks amazing, nice paints, fun and easy to remember transformations, good articulation, have just the right weights and seems quite sturdy. The only problem is that some parts are way too tight but overall I love this one.
