I never owned the First Edition Arcee. Never liked the face on her, and I felt there were some details that the mainline Arcee did better (unsurprising as TFP was further into production) - my only experience of this mold was the TF club Transmutate.
But APC have been knocking it out the park with their Prime toys, and between the deco, fresh head sculpt, and included upgrade parts, I really like Angel Engine! I'm glad I got a chance to own her at last, as I missed out on her initial release. Anyone on the fence about the APC TFP, needs to get them ASAP, cos they're VIP! (very impressive products!)

I bought this because I wasn't happy with the head that came with the second pink momo edition. I'm a G1 collector and I thought that pink color scheme would match the original Arcee. When it was on sale, I jumped on it. However, after opening it, I find the head inferior to this version and the color, pink on white, doesn't pop as well as this blue Japanese version. Though it is $20 more, I still wanted it because looks great and it also comes with an updated pink arcee head replacement.
As I've mentioned in my pink deco review, I think it is, hands down, the best Arcee mold we have ever had and this blue version just makes it even better. Unlike the pink version, this blue on black and chrome really works. It makes her look stealthy and sleek in both bot and alt mode. And with her new sculpted head, I feel the added cost over the pink one is well worth it. Again, articulation is okay, putting the gun over the hands is kind of weird, but it works without a problem. Her feet has no ankle tilt and standing her up sometimes can be a little difficult, but overall, it's not a big deal, just not like modern figures that we have now. Transformation is easy enough. If you have can buy just one Arcee from any company, then let it be this one. If you can only buy one color, then make it this blue version, even if you think Arcee should be in pink like the G1. This is her correct cartoon color. I would give her a 4.5/5. Wish she had better articulation and feet, but otherwise, she is just awesome!

I remember back in 2013 I had the 2012 deluxe version but it broke and I never had the occasion to afford a new one. Now that I’m 18 I can finally buy new transformers and I know my inner child is screaming of joy.
The only advice I would give however to those who buy it is to really be careful and taking your time during the first transformations because the plastic is very stiff so you might accidentally snap some parts if you’re putting too much force

Looks great. Almost as screen accurate as the prime show and includes her blasters and 2 sets of blades plus a custom pink head if you purchased the pink version of this figure. I did expect the figure to be a little bigger but honestly not disappointed. The figure is still pretty good although I admit $45 is a bit too much

This figure is fantastic! Solidly built, satisfying to transform, and crafted very well. Tight joints, but not too tight, allowing for very dynamic poses. The paint and sculpting are spot on; both robot and vehicle modes are near perfect to her animated series-inspired counterpart. The accessories are also awesome, with a great assortment to choose from which are also storable on the figure. She also comes with an alternate pink colored head which adds a very exotic look to the figure if you should choose to swap heads. The quality of the plastic, molding, sculpting, paint, accessories, look and feel are all very high. The box she comes in is also of the highest quality with some very nice original artwork. The instructions are easy to follow and thorough. I would highly recommend this figure for anyone that is looking for a near-perfect version of a "Transformers: Prime"-style Arcee alternative. Price is great for what you get. Shipping was fast and the figure was packaged very well. Great figure! 4.8 out of 5.

-Awesome! But not perfect-
First of all, the delivery was fast and reliable.
And, after transforming her several times, I can say that it is a very good figure!
The packaging is excellent, the figure comes very well protected and the art of the box is great too.
The plastic feels good, accessories are very good too. Even the new head for the pink version of "Angel Engine" (aka Arcee ) is a fantastic bonus. I think it's worth every penny, and it's faithful of what we see 10 years ago on Transformers Prime.
What I do not like is that some painted parts lack a second hand or lack paint directly. For example, Arcee have light-blue lines that go up her thighs. That detail was needed. And some parts of the plastic in the cannons don't have the same shade of blue.
APC had the opportunity to modify the mold to make this figure much more faithful to the show. But didn't...
But overall, it's a fantastic figure. A perfect option if you have not gotten the first edition one, or if you are collecting figures of Transformers prime or Aligned continuity (like me).
