Great figure! I love addition of die cast parts and the extra weapons sets. Definitely recommend!

BAIWEI TW1022EX Main figure + Extra Weapon Set arrived quickly as described.
The Extra Weapon set is high quality and allows you to reenact many of Optimus Prime's moments from the Bay Transformers movie trilogy.
BAIWEI TW1022EX comes in original packaging which is well designed.
TW1022EX is packaged in robot mode with the no mouthplate head sculpt and the Dark of the Moon ab section installed.
Also included with TW1022EX there are four optional orange energon blades, mouthplate head sculpt, and ab section from Transformers movies 1-2.
The optional ab section from Transformers movies 1-2 don't peg in tight so I painted the back of the pegs with a red Gundam marker.
Two coats of paint should make the ab section tight but I would test fitment after one coat first.
I did three coats of paint and the ab section pegged too tight.
If you plan on buying BAIWEI TW-1103 Elder Explorer (Jetfire KO) the figure comes with the ab section from Transformers movie 1-2 so you don't need to worry about TW1022EX loose abs.
Out of the box TW1022EX looks great with the new added paint work that the Studio Series 32 mold really deserved.
BAIWEI did a great job with the beautiful accents of silver metallic paint that make TW1022EX photo realistic to Optimus Prime as he appeared in the Bay Transformers movie trilogy.
The blue and red colors used by BAIWEI have a nice matte gloss as well.
In addition to the premium paint work BAIWEI added high quality die-cast metal to TW1022EX. In hand TW1022EX has good heft and the plastic feels durable. Articulations work well too.
Both optional head scuplts are well designed. The accessories that plug into the hands are a bit tight due to extra paint work.
The Dark of the Moon ab section pegs in tight so a bit of pulling may be needed to remove it.
TW1022EX transforms well into truck mode however do be cautious with the transformation step that requires bending the figure at the waist.
The extra paint work on TW1022EX
make unpegging the figure at the waist a challenge. Instead of a forceful movement use minimal power to unpeg the waist section to avoid snapping the figure in half.
-Truck mode
Looks great with the new paint work by BAIWEI. I also like the new long smokestacks BAIWEI added. The metallic silver make the truck grill section look amazing. Some bits of the truck don't tab perfectly.
The die-cast is a nice touch but it made the fifth wheel section on the back of the truck impossible to peg together.
*This is an important step that caused many Studio Series 32 figures to snap at the grill sections when transforming back to robot mode.
BAIWEI added great quality plastic to the sections that form the truck grill for TW1022EX; however, these can still be broken, specifically when trying to transform from truck to robot mode.
Instead of prying the two grill pieces apart like opening a book pull the two grill sections in opposite directions being sure to keep the two grill sections horizontal. The idea is to keep the grill sections in line with each other so the pegs slide out smoothly.
This will help ensure the pegs aren't snapped off. Definitely use minimal force.
Overall TW1022EX is a great figure.
The paint work is extraordinary and the plastic quality is great. The addition of die-cast metal make TW1022EX a figure that is built to last for many years of enjoyment. Transformation is for the most part fun and both modes look great.
-Jetpower combined mode
TW1022EX looks incredible combined with TW-1103 Elder Explorer that I have.
The parts fit as they should and the included DNA Design kit parts that BAIWEI TW-1103 Elder Explorer comes with make the Jetpower mode look more movie accurate.
And you have the option of using some of the kit when TW1022EX is in truck mode too.
*Please note you cannot build Jetpower mode without buying BAIWEI TW-1103 separately. Using Studio Series 35 Jetfire may not fit as well.
Credit to Takara and DNA Design for incredible engineering.
My compliments as well to BAIWEI for their TW1022EX.
I highly recommend purchasing BAIWEI TW1022EX Main figure + Extra Weapon Set. This is a well designed figure and perfect for anyone who wants to reenact Optimus Prime's moments in the Bay Transformers movie trilogy.
Along with 2009 Revenge of the Fallen Leader Optimus and MPM-4 TW1022EX is another great version of the infamous face destroyer.
Thank you to everyone at TFSAFARI for all the work done for collectors around the world. TFSAFARI staff you all are amazing!

An overall great figure, with no major quality issues, good display value and a gorgeous paint job that is a massive improvement upon other versions of this figure.
Only real problem I've encountered is that the transformation has some clearance issues, and one of the front wheels does not peg in properly.

Product exactly as described, arrived earlier than expected!

A great representation of good old Bayverse OP, for an unbeatable price.
The only negative on my copy was a stiff shoulder joint, but wir a bit of patience no problem. Definitely a thumbs op from me.

Came as ordered, no complaints.

Nice weight to it, paint looks amazing and so many accessories! Would definitely recommend.

Painting on the figure is good no loose joints but some are a but tight, also the holes in the hands are really tight which makes it hard to get weapons out of its hands. Lastly the left smokestack came broken out the box

Very happy with my purchase it’s funny Hasbro just rereleased this figure in Walmart and it looks so cheap compared to the Baiwei version with a much lower price point than the mainline version

I really like the mold and the paint highlights every single square on this guy.

Muy contento con esta Optimus y sus armas ,todo llegó en orden

looks great with last knight Optimus but mines didn’t come with his knee pad

This is a great figure! With Jetfire, they make an excellent combination, Optimus Prime can hold Jetfire’s body in gun mode perfectly, making it easy to pose.
Even though it’s a small figure, the transformation is impressively well-defined. I definitely enjoy it!
Pura vida from Costa Rica!

Amazing figure for the price. I got the weapon set with it, and it gives you so many options.
Pros: gorgeous paintjob that feels quite durable. All the joints are good and tight, with nothing loose. Plastic feels great. Feet are made from diecast metal, which gives the whole figure a premium heft.
Cons: All the joint parts are painted, so most joints are likely to be too tight. When I first got the figure , one of the hip joints was so tight I thought I was going to shear the leg off before it moves. The fist holes are also painted, so some accessories might be tough to get in the hand. Knuckle spikes don't match the premium paint job.
My recommendation? Get this figure, but have a 3mm Philips screwdriver, and some fine sandpaper or a craft knife handy to loosen up some of the joint, and, if necessary, open up some of the joints to scrape away some paint. A bit of TLC is all it takes to make this figure close to perfect.

Painted connection parts (tabs and slots) cause clearance problems when trying to tab in.

It came as expected and the packing was awesome, no damage to the box or the toy inside it, the instructions were very clear and I loved it, will definitely buy again

Its really good I'd recommended it, has it is really cool and its got bit of weight to it so thats good. Transform easy and don't feels like it is going to fall apart. Also it's does not break after dropping it has my daughter has dropped it a good few times and not from small heights. Will be buying again but in different forms

Shipping came 2 days earlier than expected.
Transformation is pretty clean and a little complex.
Overall a good toy 5/5

Absolutely a great looking figure, poses well and transformation isn’t too difficult. The only reason it isn’t a 5 star is because one of the tabs on the front grill that holds the two pieces together breaks easily and his arms like to come undone when nit holding them at the shoulder.

I enjoy the figure way more than expected. The heft he has and the poses you can do are great. He especially looks great. The only downside I have with my figure and I have 2 of this and my friend has the same issue is the ab pieces don't like to stay in super well. I also have an issue myself with how tight the weapons fit but both are fixable. Otherwise a real great figure overall.

I personally love the figure, it is not to complicated.
and it looks on point, i have no problems.

Such a great figure, the quality is great, everything about the figure is great! (better than the official honestly lol) and I like the diecast feet, the pegs would probably break easily if the feet weren't.

it's pretty nice, but the waist part where you split him is pretty tight and hard to get out, still good though

Figure looks amazing

This is a fantastic alternative to SS44/SS32. Not only is he painted to perfection, but he also looks absolutely stunning—especially when you consider how much more affordable he is compared to SS44/SS32. A true standout at a fraction of the price.
He actually transforms with more confidence, especially since the truck grill feels sturdy and secure—no worrying about it snapping when switching from alt mode.
The feet are made of die-cast, which adds a nice touch of weight and sturdiness. While the plastic feels a bit cheap and thin—likely contributing to the lower price—it doesn’t take away from how incredible it is to pose. Despite its flaws, it’s still a fantastic figure.
Speaking of posing, the weapons he comes with completely outshine the unpainted ones that SS44 came with. The shield, in particular, is not only accurately scaled but can also be held properly—something the Studio Series version just can’t match.
In the base box, you get everything you need:
The figure itself
2 clear oragne Energon Swords that can be wielded in his hands
2 clear orange Energon Swords that replicate his iconic arm-mounted blades from the first two movies
An alternate face sculpt for added variety
And alternate chest pieces, though they don’t stay in place as securely as you might hope.
In the weapon expansion, you get a stellar upgrade with:
A beautifully painted, perfectly scaled shield
2 painted Ion Blasters
A smaller silver Energon Axe
A larger clear orange Energon Axe
2 clear orange Energon Hooks as seen in Revenge of the Fallen during the forest fight
And, rounding it off, his iconic shotgun featuring the same bold red and blue flames as his alt mode.
I can easily recommend this to anyone in search of the Studio Series versions, it may feel cheaper, but your friends will never know the difference (unless they personally have the Studio Series versions...)

It took for
Ever but wroth it. The bad thing is the 2007 belly piece don’t want to stay in
